The Land Transportation Office - Philippines has announced that it will prohibit and penalize the use of improvised or temporary vehicle plates, such as these being sold for at least PHP200 on a Davao City sidewalk, beginning Nov. 1, 2025. The order aims to ensure proper vehicle identification and curb the widespread use of unauthorized plates, except those authorized by the LTO.
