The Southeast is in for days of heavy rain and some potential for tropical mischief in the Gulf later in the week as the National Hurricane Center monitors an area near Florida.

Sunday afternoon we see highs in the upper 70s at the coast, and 80s inland. Some sun breaks through the early morning cloud cover and fog. The far North Country will see a pop up shower or storm with heavy rain and lightning through sunset.
