The BSE Sensex was trading at 76,732.73, up 1,575.47 points or 2.10 per cent. Tata Motors climbed 5 per cent to Rs 625 and was the top Sensex gainer.

The multibagger stock climbed 7% to Rs 161.45 in early deals against the previous close of Rs 151.45 on BSE. Market cap of the firm climbed to Rs 20,795 crore on BSE.

Shares of Quess Corp settled at Rs 295.80 at BSE on Tuesday after the company demerged two business entities namely- Digitide Solutions and Bluspring Enterprises- from itself.

SMC Global Securities said that Grasim Industries has been trading within a relatively wide range of Rs 2300 to Rs 2550 over the last two months, showing no significant upward or downward trend.

Hexaware Technologies shares climbed 6.26 per cent intra day to the day's high of Rs 672.1 on the BSE. Market cap of the firm stood at Rs 38,412 crore.

HCL Technologies shares rose 0.71% to close at Rs 1390.30 on BSE. Market cap of the firm stood at Rs 3.77 lakh crore.
