The Cincinnati Bengals have one of the best quarterbacks in football with Joe Burrow. They also have arguably the best wide receiver tandem in the game with Tee Higgins and Jamar Chase. And while that is certainly a recipe for success, they also have plenty of other holes they need to fill across the board to turn back into Super Bowl contenders.

Either way, this late development in the draft news cycle could be the difference between a reach and a good value or, over the long-term, a bust or a success. The Bengals need help now at key spots and the more guys who come off the board in front of them at positions like quarterback, the better.

If Hendrickson ends up going elsewhere, then the Bengals could be hoping that Sawyer is still available when they are on the clock on Day 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft.
