Sitting courtside at the Knicks game did not go according to script for Oscar winner Anne Hathaway. Knicks forward OG Anunoby nearly collided with Hathaway on Wednesday night after a steal attempt took him near her seat at Madison Square Garden and caused him to knock over the popcorn that was resting in front of her.

It took an extra three weeks, but Joel Embiid 's regular season finally is underway. The superstar center made his season debut Tuesday night at Wells Fargo Center against the New York Knicks after sitting out the first nine games to manage his left knee injury and then a three-game suspension for shoving a reporter.
