The Fever ran away with a 79-52 win behind a 17-point performance from Kelsey Mitchell, plus 13 points from Natasha Howard and 12 points from Clark’s replacement Aari McDonald as the team won its second straight game and pulled its record even at 4-4.

Not much went to plan for the Chicago Sky on Saturday night. They lost 79-52 to the shorthanded Indiana Fever. Even worse, veteran point guard Courtney Vandersloot went down with an ugly knee injury in the first quarter.

Caitlin Clark provided an update on her quad injury, confirming she will miss this weekend’s game against the Chicago Sky but will be re-evaluated afterward.
