The driverless ride-hailing service Waymo issued a recall for 1,212 vehicles after a series of minor crashes involving obstacles in the road.

Gio Insignares reports on the recent recall that saw Waymo pull more than 1,200 self-driving cars off the street for faulty software that was leading to crashes into chains, gates and other roadway barriers.

Waymo recalled software for more than 1,200 robotaxis because some cars were collinding into barriers, a NHTSA report said.
