Arizona Cardinals issue injury updates for James Conner and Trey Benson vs Rams
Conner, who has a career-high 1,500 scrimmage yards this season, suffered a right knee injury in the second half of the Cardinals’ Week 16 loss to the Panthers, eliminating them from playoff contention. He was not ruled out but spent the remainder of the game on the sidelines in a jacket and did not return.
Expect Michael Carter to have a big role offensively as he was elevated from the practice squad to play vs. the Rams.
Benson (ankle) is inactive for Saturday's game at the Rams, Darren Urban of the Cardinals ' official site reports.
