Shane van Gisbergen continued his march into NASCAR history and set a Cup Series record with his fourth victory this season, blowing out the competition again at Watkins Glen International

In yet another waxing of the field that has legitimized talk of him potentially becoming NASCAR's best road racer ever, Shane van Gisbergen cruised to victory at Watkins Glen International, earning his fourth road course win in a row and his fourth overall this season.

The 36-year-old NASCAR Cup Series rookie celebrated his new contract extension with Trackhouse Racing by winning his fourth road-course race of the season Sunday, Aug. 10, at Watkins Glen. He led 38 of the 90 laps and finished 11 seconds in front of runner-up Christopher Bell.
