Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold, former USC Trojans star, has arguably the biggest start of his football career when his team takes on the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round of the NFL Playoffs.
Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold appeared out of the blue on Thursday with an oblique injury, which has him listed as “questionable” for Saturday night’s game. The signs point to Darnold playing, but coach Mike Macdonald — in his first visit with reporters since the injury happened — left the door open for Darnold either not starting or perhaps not being able to finish.
Darnold, who threw for over 4,000 yards this year and finished the regular season with a 99.1 QB Rating, is listed as questionable for Saturday's game, and said he experienced the discomfort on his left side on a throw during practice. Darnold is a righty.
