The man's wife reported that he had left their home in Fairview and had not returned home. The next day, he was found dead from a gunshot wound near the house.

The call to report Roman Shulishov missing came in around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office said in a release.
