UConn star Paige Bueckers, the projected No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, left the team's 83-52 win over Villanova on Sunday with a left knee injury after a scary collision. Huskies coach Geno Auriemma was "optimistic" that Bueckers escaped a worst-case scenario, but she will need to undergo imaging before a full diagnosis can be made.

The presumed No. 1 pick in the WNBA draft appeared to injure her left knee when she awkwardly fell while going for a loose ball late in the third quarter of UConn's dominant win.
