Collectively, it’s one of the best coaching staffs in football. ESPN’s Ben Solak ranked each team’s staff for the 2025 season and he put the Rams at No. 5. In Solak’s rankings, he notes that special teams coordinators and most position coaches “don’t have an impact here,” so it’s mostly about the head coach and offensive/defensive coordinators.

As the Rams move into training camp, starting quarterback Matthew Stafford has been dealing with back soreness and is considered week-to-week after consulting with the team’s spinal surgeon. Stafford’s situation remains fluid, but until something changes, the Rams will be relying on Jimmy Garoppolo to execute the offense.
