The Patriots also elevated Leonard Taylor III to the active roster. The defensive tackle signed with New England’s practice squad in October. In 16 NFL games, all with the New York Jets, Taylor has 27 total tackles and 1.5 sacks.

The Bills secondary is beset by injuries, but coach Sean McDermott knows they are going to need Maxwell Hairston, even if cornerback Christian Benford can play Sunday in New England.
