Let the Epic adventures begin! Universal Orlando Resort celebrates the grand opening of its newest theme park Universal Epic Universe, highlighting the official debut of an innovative and immersive theme park and the first major park to open in Orlando in 25 years.

Epic Universe, Universal Orlando Resort’s much-anticipated theme park, officially opened on Thursday, hours early to eager fans. It’s the first major, traditional theme park to open in Florida since 1999,

Universal will offer free transportation between its original campus and Epic. Guests can catch a shuttle from the CityWalk parking hub and most Universal hotels. The one exception is Universal Helios Grand Hotel, where shuttles aren’t needed because the hotel is connected to the park by an exclusive entrance.

Universal Epic Universe could soon become the second biggest park in Florida, third largest in the U.S. and sixth largest in the world.
