The US Open has ended in thrilling fashion, as J.J. Spaun recovered from a nightmare start to win the biggest title of his career Bryson DeChambeau won this major last year, but he missed the cut,

J.J. Spaun delivered a finish to remember on his way to winning the 2025 US Open. The 34-year-old holed a 64-foot putt on the 18th hole at Oakmont Country Club to win the season's third major with a one-under score.

The prize fund of £15.9million in 2024 was the highest of any major, surpassing the Masters, PGA Championship and The Open. In addition, the £3.2m cheque for the winner was the biggest for a one-off event outside of the season-ending Tour Championship.
