Friday morning brought some disappointment for Chiefs fans hoping to catch Day 4 of training camp. Just before the 9:15 a.m. practice was set to begin, the team pushed out an update through the Chiefs Mobile App, letting everyone know that the session at Missouri Western State University would be closed to the public.

Brett Veach is a genius, so I’m just ready to see the rookies,” Chris McCurley, a fan who travels over an hour each year for camp, said. McCurley says he’s used to these temperatures with August camp, but he does come prepared.
