DHAKA, June 16, 2025 (BSS) - Iran has called upon the international community, including the UN and Islamic countries, to respond quickly against Israeli aggression to its territory.

Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has weathered a series of challenges but Israel's unprecedented strikes mark his most serious crisis yet, threatening both the clerical system he leads and his own physical survival.

Four of the people died when a missile hit a residential block in the central Israeli city of Petah Tikva, and three more in Haifa, the local authorities said. An 80-year-old man died when his home collapsed as a result of a shock wave from a strike in Bnei Brak, a city east of Tel Aviv.
