CPS Energy reported about 200 customers remained without power late Sunday afternoon as temperatures stayed below freezing under partly sunny skies.

Freezing rain and sleet have left South Central Texas, but overnight, we had a lot of ice. Remember that it can be tricky to drive in icy conditions, so be safe and careful as you head out on Sunday.
The winter storm warning in San Antonio will expire at noon Sunday, but bitter cold temperatures will remain.
The ice and freezing conditions has caused many highways and roads to close.
SAN ANTONIO – Thousands of CPS Energy customers are without power in the San Antonio area on Sunday morning. As of 5:30 a.m., 39 outages are affectingmore than 10,000 customers. In a post on X, CPS Energy wrote that crews worked overnight to respond to the outages.
CPS Energy reports that more than 1,200 customers are without power in the San Antonio area, the first substantial outage development of this weather event in Bexar County. Most of the impacted households are on the south side, in the area of Southeast Military Drive and Roosevent Avenue.
