Sterling K. Brown is making his long-awaited return to live-action television with his new role in Hulu ‘s upcoming drama Paradise, created by This Is Us mastermind Dan Fogelman.
For Sterling K. Brown, doing ayahuasca with his wife, Ryan Michelle Bathé, was messy and eye-opening experience. The actor, who stars on Hulu drama Paradise, was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week, and recalled trying the psychedelic brew, which typically puts users through a hallucinogenic trip.
A new series from Hulu is premiering next week called Paradise. There’s a great cast here in Sterling K. Brown, James Marsden, Sarah Shahi, and Julianne Nicholson. It comes from Dan Fogelman, the creator/writer behind This Is Us, and also a couple of cult faves, Pitch and Galavant.
Now Fogelman is back with Hulu’s Paradise, a political thriller that shares nothing in common with This Is Us except its star, Sterling K. Brown, and its own mind-rattling revelation in the opening hour.
Sterling K. Brown is looking out for his This Is Us co-stars, Mandy Moore and Milo Ventimiglia. While promoting his upcoming Hulu series Paradise, the Emmy winner revealed to Extra that he spoke with Moore and Ventimiglia after both of their homes burned down in the L.
Paradise is set in a serene community that is inhabited by some of the world’s most prominent individuals. The peace doesn’t last forever though when chaos explodes in the wake of a shocking murder and a high-stakes investigation. Brown’s character finds himself at the center of an investigation after he’s accused of murdering the former president.
