Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo opened the 97th Annual Academy Awards on Sunday, March 2, with knockout performances of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" (Grande), "Home" from The Wiz (Erivo) and "Defying Gravity" (the two of them together).
