Counterterrorism police are investigating a stabbing attack on a train in England which left 10 people wounded, most of them with life-threatening injuries.
A motorist was killed Thursday when their vehicle was struck by a commuter rail train near Grayslake, according to Metra. The collision took place at around noon on the Milwaukee-District North line, where Hainesville Road crosses the tracks, Metra spokesperson Meg Reile said.

A car fire on a railway track has disrupted train services. The vehicle was ablaze at Brockenhurst level crossing in the New Forest earlier. An elderly man made it safely out of the car before it was consumed by flames, according to posts on social media.
