A winter storm warning has been issued for all of Middle Tennessee. While most areas could receive between three to six inches of snow on Friday, some areas could see as much as seven inches.

As snow fills in across Middle Tennessee, conditions will deteriorate fast. Bottom line: Be where you want to be Friday morning. Expect a range of 3-5” near the Tenn./Ky. border with slightly higher amounts as you head more into Middle Tennessee.

Winter Storm in Tennessee: Accumulating snow expected in Middle TN Friday
The warning for Lincoln, Moore, and Franklin counties runs from midnight Friday to 6 AM Saturday. The rest of Middle TN and Southern KY are under the warning from 3 AM Friday to 6 AM Saturday. It is a good setup for accumulating snow with cold air in place and a low-pressure center coming from the Gulf with lots of moisture.
