Netflix's co-CEO Ted Sarandos gave some intriguing backstory on why the streamer isn't available in China. Sarandos was being interviewed during Semafor's World Economy Summit on Wednesday when he was asked about the company not being available in the world's second-largest economy.

Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos said the giant streamer’s long-term ambition is to become a trillion-dollar company, and that it’s achievable.

During Semafor’s World Economy Summit, Sarandos said the company still has “enormous room to grow:” > In the previous five years, we’ve doubled our revenue, we grew profits 10 times, and we grew our market cap three times.
