A huge blaze has torn through a skyscraper roof in Manhattan, New York, with plumes of smoke being seen above the city. The flames was seen consuming a roof at the at the luxury The Set block of flats in the Hudson Yards area today.

A quarter of an inch of rain fell on the Jennings Creek fire early Monday morning, which helped crews get some much needed rest. The fire remains at about 3,000 acres and is 10% contained, officials said.

The state Department of Environmental Conservation said the Jennings Creek brush fire was 20% contained as it entered its fifth day
