ESPN’s Field Yates dropped his latest mock draft, predicting the Rams will select Ohio State safety Caleb Downs with the 9th overall pick which originally belonged to the Atlanta Falcons.

According to ESPN reporter Sarah Bishop, the Rams are well aware of the quarterback issue and have a plan for the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft. Thanks to owning the Atlanta Falcons ' first-round pick, the Rams could be in line to add a highly-touted rookie this offseason.

The Rams just smashed their way to another 10-win season, and now they might add Ohio State star Caleb Downs with the Falcons’ pick.

The Falcons, meanwhile, sit at 4-8 heading into Week 14 and have lost six of their past seven games. Right now, that mark puts Atlanta's pick at No. 9 in the draft — an incredible spot for the Rams, who are careening toward the playoffs.
