MSNBC has reportedly informed a majority of staffers who work on Rachel Maddow’s prime time opinion show that they are being let go as part of the network’s restructuring that resulted in the cancellation of Joy Reid’s program as well as those of other hosts.

Chris Hayes was among MSNBC’s personalities experiencing a lack of joy this week, specifically over the firing of one of his fellow evening news hosts. Hayes addressed the firing of Joy Reid on Tuesday,
