Connor McDavid penned a piece in The Players' Tribune on Monday. It's a publication in which athletes can share their first-person perspective in a written essay format. McDavid wrote a lot about his time in Edmonton with the Oilers. And a lot of what he wrote is incredibly encouraging for the only team he's ever played for in the NHL.
Both Oilers stars started their Olympics with a win, with Josh Samanski also playing a huge role for Germany alongside Draisaitl.
