Lewis' first role in eight years, the familial drama "Anemone," is a father-son affair. Get a first look at the movie.

The project from Focus Features is set to have its world premiere at the The New York Film Festival —which kicks off Sept. 26th and runs through Oct. 13 — and marks the return of the three-time Oscar winner after an eight-year “retirement.”

Day-Lewis aside, Anemone has a solid cast. Sean Bean, also featured in the first-look image, has the other lead role. It's exciting to see an actor who has done such strong supporting work for decades across mediums get a nice meaty role opposite one of the great leading men.
