Judge blocks Trump administration from deploying California National Guard members in Los Angeles
A U.S. district judge blocked Trump from deploying the California National Guard in Los Angeles and said control of the Guard must be returned to Gov. Gavin Newsom.
The Ninth Circuit’s decision means that, come Monday, there will be no National Guard troops deployed in California," Attorney General Rob Bonta said in a news release.
