The Pittsburgh Steelers are putting all their eggs in the Aaron Rodgers basket, at least for the 2025 NFL season. As a result, the team may not be done shuffling its lineup around the future Hall of Fame quarterback.

The Pittsburgh Steelers could bolster their secondary by reuniting Aaron Rodgers with a former teammate. The Green Bay Packers released Jaire Alexander on Monday and if they make quick work of bringing him to Pittsburgh, it’s another way of showing their appreciation for Rodgers finally committing to the Steelers.

Several names have been floated as possible Pickens replacements over the last few weeks, but one that's been thrown out more than any other is current New York Jets receiver Allen Lazard, who's spent all seven seasons of his NFL career as Rodgers' teammate.
