Abdul Carter and Jaxson Dart greeted each other with big smiles and bro hugs while they were introduced as the New York Giants’ newest first-round draft picks.

After losing a franchise-record 14 games last season, the Giants have the 3rd overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

The feeling of being drafted by the New York Giants was surreal for Penn State's Abdul Carter, who dreamt of the moment in his sleep as a kid. "I don't remember the exact pick, but I remember (there) being a screen with my name on it," Carter told reporters after Round 1 of the draft. "It's hard to believe but it is true."
