Thousands of Xfinity by Comcast customers were reporting service outages on Monday afternoon. Downdetector, a website that monitors service outages, reported about 26,000 outages nationwide as of 4:30 p.m. A Downdetector map showed outage reports all over the country, including Connecticut, the New York City area and Massachusetts.
