The Senate on Friday afternoon will again take up dueling stopgap funding bills that could reopen the government, as the lapse in funding stretches into a third day.

Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks blames Democrats for the government shutdown, opposing their push to extend Affordable Care Act subsidies.

"We have workers who rent. We have workers who work paycheck to paycheck. Workers trying to be full-time, this is going to hurt them," she said.
