Storm Team 10 and the National Hurricane Center are monitoring two tropical waves in the Atlantic Ocean. The most robust wave has a high likelihood of becoming a tropical system within the next two days as the NHC has a 90% chance for tropical development.
Located roughly midway between the Windward Islands and the west coast of Africa as of 7 a.m., the system is expected to become a tropical depression or storm within the next day or two. As of 7 a.m., it had a 90% chance of forming in the next 48 hours, according to the NHC.
