The New York Jets have hired Aaron Glenn as their next head coach. While The 33rd Team was brought on board to help the team out, such decisions always fall on the feet of owner Woody Johnson. Following the official announcement of Glenn being hired, the Jets released Johnson’s statement on Glenn being the choice.

Aaron Glenn was hired to be their 19th full-time head coach on Wednesday. Glenn, who was the Jets’ first-round draft choice in 1994 and played eight seasons for the team, spent the past four years as the Lions defensive coordinator.

Aaron Rodgers’ future with the New York Jets remains at a crossroads, as the final decision remains in owner Woody Johnson’s hands. Rodgers, meanwhile, is busy monitoring Californian wildfires.
