The Old Farmer’s Almanac said in a newly released forecast that a White Christmas is unlikely in New York City, but further upstate will see snow. The city as a whole is expected to have sunny skies and minimal precipitation, according to The Old Farmer's Almanac.

Oneida and Madison counties got hit hard. The most snow fell on Clinton and New Hartford in Oneida County: 18 inches. Syracuse set a new record for Friday with 10.3 inches of snow. The previous record for that date was 8.8 inches set in 1958.
