WhatsApp is introducing Chat themes, allowing users to customize chat bubbles and backgrounds. Users can choose from 8 preset themes or customize their own for individual conversations. The update also includes 30 new wallpapers.

Meta-owned WhatsApp has introduced a couple of new features that make the messaging platform more colorful. WhatsApp now has pre-set chat themes and backgrounds, which can be applied to all chats or individual chats.

Go to Settings by tapping the cogwheel icon on the top right corner of the app’s bottom panel on iPhone, tapping the three dots on the top right corner and selecting Settings on WhatsApp’s Android app. Head to Chats, followed by a tap on Default Chat Theme. Choose a theme and apply it with or without customisations.
