The Seattle Mariners are tied for the Major League Baseball lead in walk-off wins. Somehow, their two best hitters don't have one. The Mariners have moved into a tie for first in MLB by walking it off each of the past two nights. Leo Rivas delivered a walk-off homer on Wednesday, and then it was Harry Ford with a walk-off sacrifice fly on Thursday.
Prior to Aug. 13, the Orioles hadn’t recorded a walk-off victory during the 2025 season. In fact, they were the only MLB team that hadn’t walked one off at that point. Now, Baltimore can’t stop winning in walk-off fashion.
On Aug. 12, the Mariners pulled into a tie with the Astros for first place in the AL West. Between then and now, they’ve been as many as four games back. But after last night’s wild finish — paired with an Astros loss in Toronto — the Mariners have pulled even again.
