Authorities in Colorado are working to identify the "heavily decomposed" remains of three bodies found at a remote campsite in the Rocky Mountains earlier this week.

The coroner says Rebecca Vance, Christine Vance and a 14-year-old boy were found dead near Gold Creek Campground in Gunnison County, Colorado on July 9 and 10.

The South Rim Fire burning inside Colorado's Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park has destroyed several structures and areas throughout the park, officials announced on Friday.

Two weeks after three heavily decomposed bodies were found at a remote Gunnison County campsite, the identification of the deceased has been released.

Measles symptoms include fever, cough, a runny nose, red eyes and a rash that typically starts on the face. The rash usually appears about four days after a person becomes contagious.
