Former Germany forward Sandro Wagner’s first head coaching stint is over. Augsburg and the 38-year-old Wagner parted ways after five defeats in six games and a disappointing start to the season.
The 46-year-old was most recently working as Head of Development and Football Innovation in the Fuggerstadt. Baum is also no stranger to the sidelines at FCA. From 2016 to 2019, the now reappointed interim coach was already in charge of Augsburg .
