The two music superstars performed together for the first time during the game's halftime show. Both broke big out of Detroit in the early 2000s.
The Detroit Lions got booed off the field by their home fans during a rough first quarter against the last-place Giants.
The Dallas Cowboys could be without a starting offensive lineman once again when they face the Detroit Lions on Thursday Night Football to kick off Week 14.
As far as Pro Football Focus grades go, this was a middle-of-the-road game from the Lions as a team. The 73.1 overall grade was the highest Detroit has earned in its five losses this season. Dragging down the defensive score was the pass rush, which posted a season-low grade of 57.0.
Detroit’s defense got edge rusher Marcus Davenport back on the field last week against the Green Bay Packers. Davenport handled 24 snaps in his first action since Week 2. Fellow edge defender Al-Quadin Muhammad was down to 19 snaps with Davenport’s return, and Tyler Lacy was a healthy scratch.
Detroit faces its first repeat opponent of the year, the Packers. Last time out, the Packers were able to stifle the Lions in the red zone on their opportunities. The Lions were out of sync, and consistent targeting of Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jahmyr Gibbs were easily snuffed out.
During their final drive in regulation against the Giants, on which Jake Bates tied the game with a 59-yard field goal, the Lions were forced to burn a timeout after spiking a football because the radio communication between Campbell and Lions quarterback Jared Goff went out momentarily.
