A massive emergency response unfolded Tuesday afternoon in the village of Kiryas Joel after a large construction crane collapsed in the middle of a busy downtown area, injuring at least one person.

A crane fell over onto an empty Merritt Island home on Wednesday, causing dozens of homes to be left without water. The incident happened on Mackeral Avenue.
