Chelsea have revealed which shirt number defender Trevoh Chalobah will wear following his return from loan at Crystal Palace. Chalobah was deemed surplus to requirements last summer and was not part of manager Enzo Maresca’s plans for this season.

Trevoh Chalobah has penned an emotional tribute to Crystal Palace after he was recalled from his loan spell by Chelsea. Chalobah, 25, made 14 appearances for the Eagles after joining on a season-long in August but was recalled by the Blues on Wednesday after a string of defensive injuries at Stamford Bridge.
