The iPhone maker briefly became the U.S.’s most valuable publicly traded company as investors are shifting focus from hardware supply to consumer execution.

Apple filed a scorched-earth lawsuit on Friday accusing OpenAI of stealing trade secrets to launch a prospective line of consumer devices. The complaint alleges OpenAI gained confidential information from employees it poached from Apple.
