The Las Vegas Raiders fired coach Chip Kelly just 11 games into the season, after he and the team's offense were booed repeatedly during their Sunday, Nov. 23 loss to the Cleveland Browns. Kelly became the highest-paid offensive coordinator in the NFL earlier this year when he signed a $6 million deal.
Thrust into the role because starter Dillon Gabriel was placed in concussion protocol, Sanders delivered a solid performance. He completed 11 of 20 passes for 209 yards, threw one touchdown and one interception. He also dropped in a 52-yard bomb to Isaiah Bond on third down, the biggest throw by a Browns quarterback all season long.
