The Mariners remain focused on reuniting with Eugenio Suárez after landing Josh Naylor in a major trade with the Diamondbacks.

Naylor has played 93 games for Arizona in 2025, posting a .292 batting average with 102 hits in 349 at-bats. The Canadian slugger has notched 11 home runs and 59 RBIs, along with 37 walks and 49 strikeouts.

Julio Rodríguez, Randy Arozarena and Jorge Polanco homered, Logan Evans gave up one run in five innings, and the Seattle Mariners beat the Los Angeles Angels 4-2.
