Trump will sign an executive order on Thursday that will expand the President's Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition and bring back the Presidential Fitness Test in public schools, White House Officials confirmed to ABC News.

The program was created in 1966 and had children run and perform situps, pullups or pushups and a sit-and-reach test.

One of the hallmarks of the test was the Presidential Fitness Award for top-performing students, a tradition that will return based on criteria the sports, fitness and nutrition council establishes, according to the White House.
