Ozzy Osbourne married his second wife, Sharon Osbourne, in July 1982. Sharon Osbourne's father, the late Don Arden, had been the manager of Black Sabbath. Louis Osbourne is Ozzy Osbourne's son with ex-wife Thelma Riley, to whom he was married from 1971 until their divorce in 1982.
“Ozzy and I were sleeping in the back of the bus, and we got woken up by this huge, huge blast,” Sharon remembered. She recalled bassist Rudy Sarzo shouting, “Get off the bus!” while Sarzo added, “We all get out of the bus and we had no idea what was going on.”
With the debut of his family reality show on MTV, the world learned what those who’d been paying closer attention already knew: Ozzy Osbourne was soft and fuzzy under the darkness.
