By Rishika Sadam HYDERABAD, Jan 30 (Reuters) - There is a low risk of the deadly Nipah virus spreading from India, the World Health Organization said on Friday, adding that it did not recommend travel or trade curbs after two infections reported by the South Asian nation.

India's health ministry has clarified that there are two cases of confirmed Nipah virus in West Bengal amid reports that five people were infected in the state.

The authorities have identified and traced 196 contacts linked to both cases, it added, with none showing symptoms and all testing negative for the virus.
